Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

So, CBD is short for cannabidiol which is just one of many components known as cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant.  Unlike another famous cannabinoid, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD will not get you high and is not addictive – the World Health Organisation says it “does not appear to have abuse potential or cause harm.”

What do cannabinoids do?

Cannabinoids such as CBD play a key role in what is known as your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) which research has shown can have an effect on things like sleep, mood, appetite and memory.  Endocannabinoids are cannabinoids made by your body whereas phytocannabinoids such as cannabidiol are made by plants.

What is CBD good for?

There are many benefits to incorporating CBD into your daily routine.  It can be used to support your day-to-day health and wellness and is a naturally occurring compound.

Dude, you’re missing two fingers!

Well spotted, we know the traditional idea of a cannabis leaf has seven “fingers” and we appear to be missing two from our logo but our design was quite deliberate. Although some strains of cannabis do in fact have leaves with different numbers of fingers, we wanted to stick with five to reflect the fact that we use elements of the cannabis and not necessariy the whole thing, i.e. we don’t sell THC but we do include lots of other elements such as terpenes and flavinoids.

How do I know what cannabinoids are in my product?

To find out how much of a cannabinoid, for example CBD, is in your product, have a look for the batch code an match it to the corresponding number on our Test Certificate page
